Two men accused of kidnapping and torturing the son of a motorcycling champion will face a committal hearing in Brisbane on Monday.

Mariner Thorp Rood and Christian Michael Brockhurst were allegedly part of a group of four men who kidnapped 21-year-old Harrison Donovan-Hansford, the son of motor racing champion Gregg Hansford, at a Brisbane apartment in December.

It's alleged they took Mr Donovan-Hansford into a room at the Kangaroo Point apartment and repeatedly punched him in the head, face and ribs before forcing him to smoke methamphetamine.

He was allegedly told he would need to pay the men thousands of dollars each for "talking s***" about them and they later took him to a bank and demanded he withdraw $31,000.

Rood and Brockhurst will face a committal hearing in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday on charges including torture, kidnapping, extortion and assault.
