Qld officer stood down over lying claims

A female police officer in Queensland has been stood down over allegations she lied during an investigation.
The 27-year-old constable from the south eastern region was stood down on Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman said she is the subject of a disciplinary investigation for misconduct in relation to the submission of false and misleading information, and being untruthful to an officer investigating a disciplinary matter.
