Qld national park fire suspicious: police

A fire burning in a national park on Queensland's Sunshine Coast may have been deliberately lit, police believe.

It appears the suspicious blaze at Mount Coolum was lit on the eastern side of the national park between 4am and 4.30am on Monday.

Water bombers were used to bring the fire under control on Monday, with fire crews now monitoring the blaze.
