Qld murder suspects appear in court

Three people accused of the stabbing murder of a 23-year-old man southwest of Brisbane have been remanded in custody.

Police found the body of Kieran Pye in a vacant industrial lot in Carole Park early on Thursday morning after a woman saw several people fleeing the scene.

Detective Inspector Lew Strohfeldt described the attack as "brutal and callous".

The trio, a 41-year-old Goodna man, a 36-year-old Bellbird Park woman and a 24-year-old Gailes man, appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Saturday.

They each faced one count of murder and were remanded in custody until May 13.
