Qld man to be extradited on choking charge

A man who allegedly choked and poured petrol on a woman on the Gold Coast will be extradited from NSW to face court.

The incident allegedly occurred at a home in Upper Coomera about 11pm on March 30.

The Coomera man, 50, will appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Friday charged with multiple domestic violence offences, including intending to cause grievous bodily harm and choking.
