Qld man tied up and tasered during robbery

Two men have been charged after another man was tied up, tasered and threatened with a knife during a robbery on the Gold Coast.

Police said a 43-year-old man disturbed two men in the process of breaking into a house in Tallai when he turned up at the property on Wednesday morning.

The pair then allegedly assaulted him with a Taser, bound his legs and threatened him with a knife before stealing property from the residence.

Police have arrested two men in connection with the incident, which left the 43-year-old with minor injuries.

A 26-year-old Molendinar man and a 32-year-old Arundel man face a number of charges and are due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday.
