Qld man struck, killed crossing highway

A pedestrian has been killed while crossing a highway in Queensland's southeast.

The 38-year-old Mundubbera man was crossing the Cunningham Highway at Purga, Ipswich, when he was hit by a sedan about 6.15pm on Monday.

The man died at the scene. The driver of the sedan was not injured.
