Qld man struck by van fights for life

A young man is fighting for life after being hit by a van while he was wheeling a bicycle on a road in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The 23-year-old was struck by the van, which was going in the same direction, on Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road at Tamborine, around 9pm (AEST) on Tuesday.
The collision has left the man with life threatening injuries.

The van driver was uninjured.
