Qld man stabbed multiple times

A man has been stabbed multiple times after an altercation with a group of men on the northern Gold Coast.

The man, believed to be aged in his late 40s, was stabbed in his chest, armpit and face on Yawalpah Road at Pimpama about 3.15pm on Monday, police say.

PolAir and dog squad officers are searching the area for an unknown number of offenders possibly aged in their 20s.

It is not known if the offenders are known to the victim.
