Man charged over Qld stabbing

Queensland police have charged a 28-year-old man over a stabbing at a Caboolture home, north of Brisbane.

It's alleged he stabbed a 29-year-old man in the chest after an argument at a Kipling Street house about 2am on Wednesday.

The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Caboolture Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The alleged offender fled the scene but was arrested a short time later.

He has been charged with one count each of wounding and wilful damage.
