A 19-year-old Queensland man has been charged with grievous bodily harm for allegedly bashing another man and breaking his jaw at a central Queensland bowls club.
Police said the pair got into an argument that quickly escalated at the Bundaberg venue around 8.20pm on Friday and the 27-year-old victim was allegedly punched to the ground before being repeatedly bashed while he was down.
The 19-year-old, from Moore Park Beach, was later arrested after fleeing the club and will appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday to face one count each of grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning bodily harm.
