Qld man on run from cops may have firearm

A man on the run from authorities on the Sunshine Coast may have a firearm, police have warned.

Police have urged members of the public not to approach Brandon Grant, 23, and to call triple zero immediately if they see him.

Mr Grant fled a home at Mooloolaba where officers took a woman into custody as part of investigations into the alleged theft of a car from Pelican Waters, about 24kms away, on Monday night.
