AAP
A Queensland man is fighting for his life after dropping a cigarette and catching fire at his home.
Neighbours are believed to have used a garden hose to douse the man aged in his 60s. He suffered burns to 70 per cent of his body in the fire at Gayndah in Queensland's North Burnett region on Wednesday night.
Despite severe burns, he was conscious and talking when rushed to nearby Gayndah Hospital around midnight, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said.
