Qld man killed after car hits power pole

A man has died after the hatchback he was driving collided with another car and then hit a power pole at Hervey Bay.

Police say the man, 29, was overtaking another car on Main Street when the cars collided and his hatchback veered off the road and into a power pole.

The female driver of the other car and her three passengers received minor injuries.
