Qld man pulled from burning car wreck

A man has been pulled from a burning car wreck after he slammed into a power pole in north Queensland.
The accident happened on the Bruce Highway at Hamilton Plains, just north of Proserpine, about 10.40 on Sunday, bringing down power lines and causing the car to burst into flames.
Police said the man was taken to Proserpine Hospital with significant burns.
