Qld man drove drunk at 184km/h: police

A man will face court after allegedly reaching high speeds on a Queensland highway while nearly five times over the legal blood alcohol limit.
Police say the man was intercepted at 184km/h on the Barkly Highway at Cloncurry, near Mount Isa, and had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.243 per cent.
The 25-year-old has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle while adversely affected by an intoxicating substance and unlicensed driving.

He's due to face the Cloncurry Magistrates Court on February 5.
