Qld man dies after woodchip incident

A man seriously injured by a wood chipping machine at a construction site west of Brisbane on Monday has died in hospital.

Paramedics say the man, aged in his 30s, suffered a fractured skull and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital on Monday afternoon.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has confirmed the man died in hospital on Tuesday and said an investigation into the incident was under way.
