Qld man critical after 'suspicious' fall

A man is in a critical condition after falling from an apartment balcony in Brisbane under circumstances detectives describe as suspicious.

The 45-year-old fell from the third floor of an apartment complex in Fortitude Valley on Monday afternoon.

He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition.

"Detectives are treating the incident as suspicious and a crime scene has been established at the location," a police statement said.
