Qld man crashes car and runs from police

Police are searching for a man near Brisbane's biggest university precinct after he crashed his car when officers tried to pull him over.

They say he was driving with false plates when they tried to stop him in Toowong about midday.

The man crashed his car, and ran off towards the University of Queensland.
