Qld man charged with bomb hoax

A 26-year-old man has been charged after allegedly emailing a bomb threat to a government agency in southeast Queensland.
The Booval man is accused of sending the email to the Ipswich agency just before 9am on Thursday, claiming he would detonate the device if he wasn't contacted.
Police were able to locate the man but found no evidence of explosives.

He has been charged with using a carriage service to make threats and will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on May 28.
