Qld man charged over Molotov attack

A man has been charged with throwing a Molotov cocktail at a Sunshine Coast house and at the occupant who went out to investigate.

Police say the 29-year-old threw one of the homemade bombs at the Yandina house early on Sunday morning, then allegedly threw a second one at a 43-year-old man who confronted him.

The resident was taken to Nambour General Hospital with burns to his arms, and his alleged attacker will appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
