Qld man charged over machete robbery

Three men have allegedly broken into a country home near the Queensland-NSW border armed with a machete and knives.
Police say the group broke into the house on Marshall Street in Goondiwindi in the early hours of Sunday.
They allegedly threatened the 44-year-old man who lived there before fleeing with money and property.

A 24-year-old Goondiwindi man has been charged with robbery offences and is due in Warwick Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police say more arrests may be made.
The three offenders were known to the victim, who suffered minor injuries to his hand during the robbery.
