Qld man charged after woman stabbed

A man has been charged with the attempted murder of a woman who was stabbed a number of times at a home west of Brisbane.
The 57-year-old man will appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday where he will face an attempted murder charge.
The 29-year-old woman was stabbed in the back and torso at the home in Gatton on Saturday afternoon and is in a serious condition in hospital.
