Qld man charged after weekend siege

A man has been charged with numerous drug and exploitation offences after a siege in central Queensland.
Police say the 45-year-old locked himself in a unit in Sarina on Sunday when officers tried to arrest him for allegedly trafficking ice between March 2015 and January 2016.
He surrendered without incident and was charged with numerous drug offences, possessing firearms and child exploitation material, and will appear in Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday afternoon.
