Qld man charged after car crash

A man has been charged after allegedly stealing a car that ended up sandwiched between two semi-trailers on a Queensland highway.

A 17-year-old girl was flown to Rockhampton Base Hospital with head injuries after the crash on the Bruce Highway at Colosseum, near Miriam Vale, at 3.25am on Saturday.

A 21-year-old Gunalda man, who received non life-threatening injuries in the crash, has been charged with a range of offences including dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, stealing and unlicensed driving.
