Qld man bitten by snake under bed

Forget the monsters under the bed - it's the snakes you should be worrying about if you live in Queensland.

That's what a 69-year-old man discovered after being bitten on the hand by a snake, which had somehow slithered into the bedroom of his home at Ningi, north of Brisbane, late Wednesday night.

He was taken to Caboolture Hospital in a stable condition.

The type of snake is unknown.
