Qld healer's alleged killer faces court

A financial adviser accused of murdering a Gold Coast spiritual healer has appeared briefly in a Brisbane court.

Trung Ma, 35, is charged with murder and interfering with the corpse of Hugo Bonham, a self-described "divine transformational facilitator" who was last seen on the Gold Coast in February.

The 63-year-old's body was found at a Brisbane storage facility later that month.

On Monday, Ma appeared via video link in the Brisbane Magistrates Court where his case was adjourned until August 18, a court official said.
