Qld greyhound trainer awaits sentence

A disgraced Queensland greyhound trainer is expected to be sentenced next week after pleading guilty to more than a dozen animal cruelty charges.

Tom Noble faced Ipswich District Court on Tuesday having pleaded guilty to 15 counts of serious animal cruelty.

Judge Alexander Horneman-Wren adjourned his sentence until September 6 having heard submissions from Noble's lawyers about the 69-year-old's health, including a battle with depression.
