Qld govt to fund drought-stricken regions
AAP
Queensland's drought-stricken regions can look forward to funding packages in the state budget.
Treasurer Curtis Pitt says state crop exports have risen 129.5 per cent in the year to May, but the government will inject funding into areas suffering drought to stimulate farming in the July 14 budget.
"The Palaszczuk Government will continue to support Queensland's primary producers who are doing it tough in the drought," he added.
