Qld flat held at gunpoint by 'fake cops'
AAP
A Gold Coast household has been held at gunpoint and intimidated by a trio of men impersonating police officers allegedly seeking a missing person.
The men, aged between 27 and 35 years old, claimed to be plain clothes police officers looking for a missing person when they talked their way into the Thornleigh Crescent home at 9.30pm on Tuesday.
Once inside, two of the men produced handguns and forced the flatmates - two men aged 20 and 26, and a 21-year-old woman - onto a couch.

The unit was searched, but the trio fled after finding no one else present.
It is understood the three residents had no connection to either the armed trio or the alleged missing person.
