WHAT THEY SAID

Newman explaining that electorates that don't vote in LNP candidates will miss out on local promises: "If they're not elected, well then the new member may have different ideas and different priorities that we cannot guarantee we will do."

Palaszczuk calling on Newman to present his evidence of bikies backing Labor: ""If anyone, or Mr Newman, has any evidence whatsoever, forward it immediately to the police."
