Qld crews request waterbombers for fire

Crews working to contain a large grassfire in southeast Queensland have requested waterbombing aircraft to help put it out.
The blaze is currently burning near Bellbird Road and White Rock Road, near Kingaroy, and emergency crews are conducting backburning to contain it.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman told AAP there were homes in the area, but they were not under threat.
