Qld cop suspended over alleged misconduct

A north Queensland police officer has been suspended after being charged with misconduct.
Police on Monday announced the charge of misconduct in relation to public office but have not stated the date the offence is alleged to have occurred.
The 50-year-old male senior constable will appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on September 27.
