Qld cop stood down for off duty incident

A Queensland police officer has been stood down from duty over allegations he was a public nuisance and committed wilful damage while off duty.

Police say the 26-year-old will perform "non-operational duties" while the incident in investigated.

The constable is a member of the South Eastern Region, made up of the Gold Coast and Logan districts.
