Qld cop charged with computer hacking

A regional Queensland policeman has been stood down over allegations of inappropriate access and disclosure of information.

The 39-year-old senior constable from the southern region, now tasked with non-operational duties, is the subject of an investigation into the access and dissemination of the material.

He is due to appear in the Warwick Magistrates Court on August 14 on charges of computer hacking and misuse and improper disclosure of information.
