Qld cop accused of fleecing govt cash

A former Queensland police sergeant will be extradited from the Northern Territory to face charges over the misappropriation of government money.
Police allege the former officer from Mt Isa, who resigned in March, inappropriately dealt with cash collected by the QPS on behalf of other government agencies.
He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
