Two men - Vincent O'Dempsey, 76, from Warwick, and Gary Reginald Dubois, 67, from Torbanlea - were arrested in mid-October following a lengthy ongoing police investigation.

Both men have been charged with three counts each of murder and two of rape.

Their matters were mentioned on Monday in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.

Neither man appeared.

The court was told the crown would provide defence lawyers with a brief of evidence by February 2.

The matters will be reviewed again on February 16.
