Qld child pulled from dam fights for life

A child is fighting for life after being pulled from a dam in Queensland.

The primary school-age boy has been airlifted to the Queensland Children's Hospital after paramedics were called to a private property at Cottonvale, near Stanthorpe on Wednesday.

He was rushed in a critical condition to Stanthorpe Hospital before being taken to Brisbane.
