QUEENSLAND 2015 BUDGET - WHAT WE KNOW:

FUNDING:

* $750 million for training and skills funding to help an extra 37,000 people each year

* $347 million for pensioner concessions

* $210 million over four years to improve Queensland's nursing workforce

* $180 million to attract investment and partnerships in the technology, innovation and research sectors

* $31.3 million over four years on domestic violence initiatives

* $30 million netball facility for the Queensland Firebirds

* $6.6 million to provide free parental support services

* $2 million over two years on a pilot program to help reduce homelessness and reoffending

* There will be a $3 billion write-down in mining royalties over four years

POLICY:

* Labor will reduce state debt by $4.1 billion by shifting it to the books of government-owned electricity companies

* Treasurer Curtis Pitt has ruled out using public servants' superannuation and leave entitlements to pay down debt

* Infrastructure assessment processes will be streamlined to make it easier for private sector proposals
