Qld brand secures Comm Games contract

A Queensland business has become the latest local firm to secure a deal with Gold Coast Commonwealth Games organisers.
Summit Sports has been granted sub-licencing rights to produce a range of branded sports good such as inflatable balls and mini hockey sticks for the 2018 Games.
GOLDOC chairman Peter Beattie says providing an economic benefit to Queensland remains a key part of the Games' goal and 89 per cent of procurement contracts so far have been issued to companies with a Queensland presence.
