Qld attack victim in a stable condition

A man rushed to hospital with critical injuries following a violent attack in suburban Ipswich is now in a stable condition.
Queensland police say he suffered several injuries during an altercation with two men who went to his home before dawn on Thursday.
The man was rushed to Brisbane's Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

Queensland Ambulance said he had suffered multiple wounds but did not reveal the nature of those injuries.
A spokeswoman from the Princess Alexandra Hospital confirmed the patient's condition had improved, and he was now stable.
Another man was taken to the Ipswich Hospital with head injuries. He was in a stable condition.
