Qld assault victim suffers internal injury

A woman who was assaulted in an early morning attack in Brisbane has suffered serious internal injuries.
The 27-year-old was allegedly kicked and assaulted by a man she knew at a home on Andrew Street, Balmoral, about 2.30am on Saturday and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The man, aged 26, will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday on one count of grievous bodily harm.
