Qld armed robbers take no for an answer

Two men who held up a Queensland service station armed with a knife and a tomahawk only got away with cans of drink after the female attendant refused to give them money.

Police say the men, aged 17 to 18, entered the station at Marsden in Logan City at around 9.30pm on Friday and demanded money.

When the attendant refused their demands they took cans of drink from a display near the door and fled.

The attendant was not physically harmed.
