Power cut to 600 SEQ homes as precaution
AAP
Around 600 homes in Queensland's flood-ravaged southeast have had their power supply deliberately cut to prevent electrocution.
Energex said the homes had been inundated by rising waters from the Albert and Logan Rivers and included suburbs such as Beenleigh, Eagleby, Loganholme and Loganlea.
It comes after the body of local man Nelson Raebel, 77, was found on Saturday afternoon, not far from where he was last seen near Eagleby Road a day earlier.
