Police continue search for missing Beaudesert man after car found

Police are still searching for a Queensland man after his vehicle was discovered yesterday in the small border town of Texas, a day after he was reported missing.

Jamie Hardgraves, originally from Coomera, was last seen at an address on Thiedke Road in Beaudesert on Tuesday.

Mr Hardgraves’ wellbeing is of concern to authorities who described the man’s disappearance as ‘out of character'.

Police are requesting public assistance to help locate the 43-year-old, who last made contact with family members via a phone call on Tuesday evening, telling them he was in Coolangatta, nearly 350km from where his car was found.

Mr Hardgraves is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall, proportionate build, short straight sandy hair with blue eyes.
