Plane lands in footy field in Brisbane

Two people have had a lucky escape after a light plane made an emergency landing on a Brisbane football field.

Police say the plane landed about 7.30am in the field at Runcorn, on the city's southside.

"There were two people onboard, no injuries," police told AAP.

What sparked the emergency landing isn't clear.
