Two men rescued in southeast Qld

Two men have been rescued after becoming stranded in separate incidents in southeast Queensland.
One became stuck on Mount Beerwah, in the Sunshine Coast's Glasshouse Mountains, on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called around 1.30pm and had to stage a vertical rescue to retrieve him.

Further south, a man was rescued on North Stradbroke Island after he became stuck in the crevice of a gorge at Point Lookout around 2pm.
Video footage shows an SOS message written on the sand.
Emergency crews set up ropes and could be seen winching the man up over the cliffs to safety.
