Pedestrian killed in southeast Queensland

A 52-year-old man has been struck by a car and killed while crossing a road at Kingston in southeast Queensland.
Police say the man was hit at around 5.45pm on Monday and was pronounced dead after being taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
