Pedestrian, cyclist die on Brisbane roads

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car west of Brisbane while a cyclist has fallen and sustained fatal head injuries after suffering an apparent medical incident.

The pedestrian was struck at Lower Tenthill, about 100km west of Brisbane, at 5.20am on Tuesday.

The cyclist in his mid-50s was on a bike path on Brisbane's Go Between Bridge, say police, when he fell, hitting his head at about 6.30am.
