The case against Clive Palmer's media advisor Andrew James Crook is due for mention in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday on charges relating to a kidnap plot.

Crook was charged in late 2014 on one count of attempting to pervert justice, one count of fraud and one count of retaliation/intimidation against a juror, witness or family.

Former cop Michael Featherstone and former AFL player Tony Smith also face similar charges which stem from an alleged kidnapping plot of a bank executive.
